Yes. A suitable surface sample can provide a measured result for the selected area. It does not by itself explain the source of moisture or describe the whole building.

No. The advertised service is airborne mould testing. It is not a comprehensive test for gases, dust, chemicals or every indoor-air-quality concern.

We can agree suitable post-remediation sampling to document selected areas after work. Results apply to the agreed samples and do not guarantee that every area is free from contamination.

Yes. Aerolyse focuses on environmental testing and reporting rather than selling mould-removal services. You can obtain measured results independently from the contractor carrying out remediation.

Each air sample typically takes approximately 40 minutes to collect on site. Visits involving several sampling locations take longer, with additional time for setup, discussion and movement between areas.

Following collection, each airborne mould sample typically requires approximately 1 hour 30 minutes for analysis. This is an approximate analysis time per sample, not the duration of the whole appointment.

Yes. Multiple air samples can be collected during one visit where different rooms or affected and comparison locations need to be assessed. Aerolyse recommends the appropriate number and sampling plan before attendance.

Airborne mould testing costs £130 per air sample, including Aerolyse collection, analysis and the test result. Site attendance is required and the £150 attendance fee is additional. Our mould testing uses fluorometric analysis to measure markers associated with mould contamination in a sample. It does not identify mould species. The purpose of the analysis is to provide measurable evidence of mould contamination at the sampled location.

No. Results relate to the selected sample and location. They do not diagnose illness or guarantee the condition or safety of the whole property.
