Aerolyse collection of the air sample, analysis and your test result are included in the per-sample price. The attendance fee is additional.
Detailed written interpretive reports are available separately for an additional charge.
Site attendance is required for air sampling. Attendance: £150, separate from sample analysis. Property attendance is available subject to location and scheduling. Contact Aerolyse with your postcode to arrange a visit. The call-out fee includes fuel, travel and all attendance costs. Sample analysis and detailed written reports are charged separately.
No extra fee is required to receive your sample result. Detailed written interpretive reports are available separately for an additional charge. A sample result is not a whole-property survey.
Our mould testing uses fluorometric analysis to measure markers associated with mould contamination in a sample. It does not identify mould species. The purpose of the analysis is to provide measurable evidence of mould contamination at the sampled location.
Airborne mould samples are collected by Aerolyse during a site visit. Air sampling is not available through the postal service.
We agree a sampling plan, attend the property and position and operate the equipment.
Each air sample typically takes approximately 40 minutes to collect on site. Multiple samples can be taken during one visit.
Following collection, each airborne mould sample typically requires approximately 1 hour 30 minutes for analysis.

Collection and analysis are separate stages, not a guaranteed appointment duration. Setup, discussion, equipment preparation and movement between sampling locations also take time. Visits involving multiple sampling locations will take longer.
The appropriate number of air samples depends on the property, rooms being investigated and the purpose of testing. Aerolyse discusses the sampling plan with you before attendance.
Multiple air samples can be collected during one visit, for example in different rooms or affected and comparison areas. Pre- and post-remediation sampling can be arranged at the appropriate stages.

Our mould testing does not identify mould species. This is not a comprehensive indoor-air-quality test for every pollutant. Results describe conditions at the time and location sampled.
Results relate to the samples and locations tested. A detailed report can interpret the findings in the context of the available property history and conditions, for an additional charge. A sample alone does not establish the exact cause of mould.
