Scope and sample selection
Sample locations are selected from the reported issue, visible conditions, access, occupancy, leak history, and whether the concern is surface mould, airborne exposure, bacterial contamination, or remediation close-out.
Our method combines selected samples, site context, photographs, moisture observations, and report interpretation for property evidence.
Testing is useful when the result is tied back to the room, material, moisture conditions, access limits, and the reason the investigation was requested.
Sample locations are selected from the reported issue, visible conditions, access, occupancy, leak history, and whether the concern is surface mould, airborne exposure, bacterial contamination, or remediation close-out.
Relevant observations may include affected rooms, visible growth, moisture indicators, ventilation context, photographs, access restrictions, and information given during the visit.
Fluorometric enzyme analysis, including Mycometer-based methods where applicable, helps quantify fungal or bacterial load from selected samples.
Air testing and sampling can help assess whether an occupied room or area may be affected by a mould source. Air results should be interpreted alongside surface findings, moisture conditions, ventilation, visible defects, and recent cleaning or disturbance.
Results relate only to the sampled locations and conditions at the time of attendance. A report should not be used to claim that unsampled areas are clear.
Read the full Testing Compliance page before relying on results for remediation, insurance, housing, or legal decisions.
Used where a surface or material needs selected contamination evidence and a clearer record than visual inspection alone.
Useful for sewage, contaminated water, flood events, loft leaks, or hygiene-related property concerns.
Supports close-out records after cleaning, removal, drying, repair, or specialist remediation work has been completed.
Share the property issue and Aerolyse can advise what evidence is likely to be useful before attendance.
