We agree the test first. The sampling materials, collection method, return arrangements and total cost must be confirmed before you take or send a sample.

Bacterial analysisAirborne mould samples are collected by Aerolyse during a site visit. Air sampling is not available through the postal service.
Air testingHomeowners, tenants, landlords, property managers and housing providers can use postal testing for a defined mould or contamination concern. We recommend the appropriate analysis.

Professional testingContact Aerolyse first. Use the specified materials and follow the instructions supplied for the selected test. Record the requested property and sample-location details so the findings can be linked to the right place.
If a sample is unsuitable or information is missing, we will discuss the next step. Unplanned samples may not be suitable for analysis.
Use the agreed packaging, labelling and return instructions. Send samples only to the return address confirmed directly by Aerolyse.

Contact Aerolyse to arrange postal testing and confirm the full cost before dispatch. The call-out fee includes fuel, travel and all attendance costs. Sample analysis and detailed written reports are charged separately.
All testing pricesMould analysis does not identify mould species. Results relate to the submitted sample and sampling location and should be considered alongside the wider property conditions. It is not a whole-building inspection, a medical diagnosis or a guarantee that a property is safe. A postal result does not include an Aerolyse property inspection.
Testing scope and limitationsYour sample-analysis price includes analysis and the result for the submitted surface sample. No extra fee is required to receive the result.
If you require a detailed written report incorporating property history, sampling context and professional interpretation, this can be arranged separately for an additional charge. Postal testing is not a whole-property survey.
