Mould analysis: what it measures
Our mould testing uses fluorometric analysis to measure markers associated with mould contamination in a sample. It does not identify mould species. The purpose of the analysis is to provide measurable evidence of mould contamination at the sampled location.

Moisture, ventilation, use of the building and further contamination can alter conditions after sampling.

A postal result depends on the submitted sample and supplied details. It does not include an Aerolyse site inspection.

Sample analysis and your test result are included. Detailed written interpretive reports are available separately for an additional charge.
A detailed report can discuss property history, sampling context, relevant observations, comparisons and possible contributing factors. A sample alone cannot prove the exact cause of mould.
No medical or legal guarantee
Environmental sample analysis does not diagnose illness, guarantee that a building is safe, determine legal liability or guarantee an insurance outcome. It does not replace repairs or action on an identified hazard.
Testing can support a wider investigation. The responsible professional or landlord must consider the findings alongside other evidence and any applicable duties.
